- When you open a right click menu, you can also use right click to select the item too.
- To maximize a Window, double click the title bar (top one) or simply drag upwards (Tested on Windows 8).
- To close a program, use Alt+F4 or double click application icon on the top left:
- If you need to select non consecutive files, hold Ctrl key while selecting items:
- To open hidden menu items of right click, first press and hold Shift and then Right Click:
You can try these easy tricks too:
- You can press Esc key to close any Alert or dialog.
- Press and hold Alt and double click an item will open it`s Properties.
- While using drag-and-drop with files, holding Alt key while dropping will create a shortcut instead of copying/pasting.
- When you use drag-and-drop from one to other drive, Windows copies the file by default, however if you press and hold Shift key, file is moved instead of being copied.
- If you use drag and drop in same drive, it moves it by default, by holding Ctrl key while dragging will copy the file instead of moving.
