Hello friends, Hosts File is the file on any computer used by Operating System to Map HOSTNAMES to IP addresses. It is not possible to edit hosts files directly on your windows PC But using this trick you can easily edit hosts files. There can be any reason to edit hosts files on your computer e.g you want to crack any software or want to block any website on your PC. Here are some steps to edit hosts files on your windows PC.
STEP 1.
I am using WINDOWS 7. First of all click on START button and search for notepad. Now right click on notepad and RUN IT AS ADMINISTRATOR.
STEP 2.
Now notepad will open so press CTRL + O to call open command. Now copy and paste below link in the URL bar as shown in below screenshot.
Now click on shown ALL FILES as shown in above screenshot and open hosts file from the list.
STEP 3.
Now you'll get a plain text file i.e Hosts file
Now edit it and press CTRL + S to it.
