Hey friends, hi to all of you. Everybody likes it`s name to be written. Now, with this trick, you can also add your name in the right click menu of the desktop. It will also allow you to open your user
account controls by a single click. Follow these easy steps to get through:
HOW TO ADD NAME:
- Open notepad (Windows key + R and type notepad).
- Paste in the following script:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\Shell\name]
@="<Your Name here>"
"Icon"="imageres.dll,206"
"Position"="Top"
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\Shell\name\command]
@="Control userpasswords"
- Save the file as Name.reg.
- Now, double click the file and hit Yes.
- Now, right click on Desktop and see the magic:
HOW TO REMOVE NAME:
STEP 1.
Open registry editor (Press WINDOWS+R , type REGEDIT and hit ENTER)
STEP 2.
Navigate this menu:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\DesktopBackground\Shell\name
STEP 3.
Now delete the NAME folder as shown in below screenshot.
